Shared Vision Group Ltd is a progressive new Australian-based organization that offers cutting-edge technology and world class training methodology to the mining, civil and construction industries.

We believe that all industries that utilise heavy plant and equipment have a need for superior training concepts in order to produce the highest calibre of performance by the operators. This is for both production and safety reasons.

To enable this to occur we have developed a concept whereby the training outcomes are fully owned by the user and the benchmarks are maintained by the system. This provides a global first solution to training that includes all requirements for total understanding of roles and tasks inherent in the job for operators. In this way we believe that we can provide, on a global scale, highly skilled operators who understand their equipment and its use.

The Shared Vision Group Ltd is governed by a Board of Directors – all with prior experience and expertise in varying facets of the industry.


Chairman of the Board - Peter Rookas

Peter is the CEO of the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation, a not-for-profit charitable organisation assisting hospitals and health services in the Darling Downs region of Queensland. Peter is a journalist by profession with extensive experience as a broadcaster in mainstream radio and television media in South East Queensland, plus a long history in print media.

A Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (FAIM), he has a vast array of management skills, especially in the areas of public relations, event management, marketing and promotion. In his current role, he has worked closely with government departments at all levels in project development and management. Peter’s background in media will bring significant expertise in this area to the company and his other strengths will greatly assist in overseeing the marketing promotional ventures undertaken by the company.



Managing Director - Allan Dunsmuir

Allan is known as an innovator in many aspects of training development and design. He has been involved in training and management for over 30 years. He has been active across a range of training area such as mining, civil, food & meat, management, business, retail and short courses.
Allan has held senior positions in both public and private training organisations, including:
• Director TAFE Queensland Mining Services
• Business Development Manager SQIT
• Consultant Business Development Manager OSM Group Pty Ltd
• Consultant Project Manager with MISC to introduce generic mining simulators into the Queensland mining industry.


Phil Stewart - Non-Directoral Co-Company Secretary

As well as being the General Manager (see below) Phil also fills the role of co-company secretary when Dr Zain Sharar is out of the country.


Dr. Zain Sharar LLB,LLM Int'Trade Law,SJD - Company Secretary/Non-Executive Director

Zain Sharar has over 10 years experience working in Law. He has a Bachelor of Law, Master in International Trade Law and a Doctor of Legal Sciences (SJD) from Bond University specifically focused on Corporate Governance. He has taught Company Law and Corporate Governance at a number of Australian Universities and regularly consults to Board members of a number of Public Companies.


He currently sits on a number of Boards of directors for Public Companies in the capacity of a Non-Executive Director and Company Secretary. In addition, he is a member of the Australian Employee Ownership Association (AEOA), The Australian Institute of Management (AIM), and the International Commission of Jurists.


Minh Li - Non-Executive Director

Minh has over 8 years experience in the financial services industry. His core business has been in financial planning, capital raising through private investors, both in the property and share markets. He has a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting, from the University of Queensland, and a Diploma of Financial Services majoring in Financial Management. He has had successful experience in owning his own financial planning company working with a diverse mix of professionals with different backgrounds. Minh is focussed and enthusiastic about providing the support role to raising capital for the hugh potential that Shared Vision Group has to offer. Minh will be able to assist the company in moving forward.

Norm Bahr - Training Development Manager

Norm has had a highly successful career in the Australia Army spanning 21years and retiring as a Warrant Officer Class 1. He has had extensive experience in the training field, including the design and implementation of training programs, program and project management, as well as human resource and financial management. He was instrumental in implementing the changeover of the independent Army Apprentice Training School to the Tertiary And Further Education (TAFE) system in order to gain recognition for army trade training skills, which eventually led to the recognition of all Army skills.
His experience has spanned all levels of organisations both within the military and civil entities involved in army projects. In this role he has successfully dealt with government bodies and people at all levels including individuals, companies, networks, and industry training bodies. Post military Norm has been involved in small business ventures where once again his training skills have enabled him to build successful organisations. Norm is computer literate and brings to Shared Vision Group Ltd high levels of energy, the ability to write training packages around the simulators and also a detailed knowledge of the strategies that need to be employed to address modern training issues.

 

Phil Stewart - General Manager

Phil has had a highly successful career in both the public and private sectors. He has had extensive experience in the design of learning systems.
The design and implementation of training initiatives, program and project management, as well as human resource and financial management.
His experience has spanned all levels of organisations - individual companies, networks, and industry training bodies. He has led the development of various industry networks, organised their financial and infrastructure needs, and has successfully marketed them to the business community.
Phil has led industry advisory bodies in establishing financial independence, responding to industry needs with products and services and the integration of skill centres.
His experience with a wide range industries, mining, construction and civil construction, manufacturing and service organisations, provides him with a detailed knowledge of the strategies that need to be employed to address modern business issues.

Karen Dunsmuir - Co- Founder and PA to the CEO 

Karen is a co-founder of the company and serves as the Personal Assistant to the CEO. Karen also fulfils many of the secretarial and administration tasks of the company.
